( the joy~ )Review: Linus' blanket is a band i found by recommendation and instantly fell in love with them through the song "Blanket Song". Linus' blanket sounds like Advantage Lucy plus a little bit of
Mocca. Oh... the joy.. LOL...
I love the vocals of this band, sweet and childlike innocent, it matches well with their happy songs.
They haven't released any full-length album yet but from the news of their site, it seems that they're working hard on it and plan to release the full length album in the mid of this year, i'm excited.
This is my favorite piece of work from them, i just "♥" everything from this mini album.
Christmas Train is a perfect mixture of bossanova and the vocal's sweet voice... the english lyrics is just so refreshing.
Blanket song is the origin of my ♥ for them, try it and you'll find yourself falling in love with them.
Picnic is what reminds me of Mocca's style of music, a bit of the swings with lively piano sounds like their lyrics.
Summer has gone by includes a male vocal which i suspect is one of their band members... his voice is really low which actually makes a good combination with Yeongene's high vocal. Continue listening to the song even until you think it has ended and you'll get a small pleasant surprise...
Anyways, check out their
myspace and
official site for more information of them.
